Welcome to THE RTL CUP
The RTL Cup Golf Classic is a 2 day team based fundraiser for The V Foundation for Cancer Research. Our 2026 tournament will take place April 18-19 at Whirlwind Golf Course at Wild Horse Pass in Chandler, Arizona - just outside of Phoenix. 8 teams of 6 golfers will enjoy the beautiful desert courses at Whirlwind - Devils Claw & Cattail. RTL CUP IMPORTANT INFORMATION
STEP #1 - 8 teams. 6 players per team. Each team will fundraise their entry fees which includes two rounds of golf & Sunday lunch & post round awards. There is NO CHARGE for the player, you just agree to fundraise for our event with a minimum of $500 raised. We will provide fundraising links and materials.
STEP #2 - As players fundraise for their team, we will have several fundraising contests to win fabulous prizes. See details here.

Being a member of the winning RTL CUP team will add an extra chance at the drawing!
STEP #3 - April 18-19 , 6 teams will compete in a Ryder Cup Style golf tournament for the RTL CUP Championship. See details below. The winning team will also receive a prize.
Two-some or Single Registrations will be added to a team of 6 players. Two-some registrations will be able to play together in 2 person events.

The V Foundation for Cancer Research was founded by ESPN and legendary basketball coach Jim Valvano with one goal in mind: to achieve Victory Over Cancer®.
Since its formation in 1993, the V Foundation has awarded over $310 million in cancer research grants nationwide and has grown to become one of the premier supporters of cutting-edge cancer research. Due to generous donors, the Foundation has an endowment that covers administrative expenses.
And it has, with 3.5 million fewer cancer deaths in the past 30 years. But there is more work to do. Cancer is still the second-leading cause of death. We continue to “need money for research” to accelerate Victory Over Cancer®
